CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a result of pressure on the median nerve in the wrist, causing pain and weakness in the wrist and hand, and numbness or tingling in the first three fingers. These symptoms typically occur after specific activities involving overuse of the hand and are often experienced at night. This condition is common among people whose profession involves use of manual tools, excessive typing or overuse of hands to perform tasks.
